For project 1, we went to our site visit at Jao Tim, a cafe located in Kuala Lumpur to understand the site better and find 'clues' that inform our design ideas in manner.
We had to choose a group with different task for our research and analysis. There were 5 groups and I choose Group 4 which is the Site Measurement + Drawing. In my group we had 8 members. For our group task we had to measured the Jao Tim building and also do drawing which include the plans, sections, elevations and also detailing.
We divided our group into three to measured the cafe. Me and my other two friends did measured the ground floor meanwhile the others did the 1st floor and the mezzanine floor.
For the drawing we divided the task were my and my two friends did the ground floor plan and also the section drawing. The drawing actually took us a long time to finished the drawing since it has a lot of details and how we had to figure out the roof structure as well, But in the end it turns out great and we decided to laser cut the plans and section for the presentation board.
